Things have gotten stressful and hectic behind the scenes at The Wild Rumpus, which has left me with no time, energy or brain waves to romp on the keyboard.
About a month ago, I was going through a huge writer’s block. Now I have tons of ideas, but zero time. Funny how that works out, isn’t it?
Anyway, I wanted to post something quick and happy and sunshin-y because spring has finally arrived in Boston.
This week, we went outside without winter coats for the first time, and it was awesommmmmmme! Tonight, I’m planning to make s’mores over a bonfire built out of snow pants, hats and boots, which I never want to see again as long as I live.
I am so excited for all the things we can do now that the weather is nice! For starters, we have a beautiful forest nearby where the kids enjoy hiking on nature paths. Here is a photo I took of Superhero during a mother-son adventure last summer. He is doing his Spider-Man pose because five-year-old boy.
Happy Spring, everybody! I hope to be writing again soon. Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
Go, Superhero! My daughter, known in Blogland as The Child, lives in Boston, too!
